Huang Baodong Accompanied the President of Import and Export Bank of China on a Visit to the Four Countries of Africa
From Oct.12 to Oct. 21 the deputy manager of the Group Corporation Huang Baodong accompanied the President of Import and Export Bank of China Li Ruogu on a visit to Zimbabwe, Sudan, Guinea, and Mauritania four countries. During the visit, Huang Baodong met and talked with the leaders and ministers concerned and signed the memorandum of cooperative development Guinea Suapi Power Station.
In the afternoon of Oct. 17, President Li Ruogu and his delegation held a joint meeting with Guinea Minister of State and Finance, Minister of Geology and Minerals, Minister of Post and Telecommunications, President of National Bank, etc. They had a further diacussion on cooperation and reached agreement. Huang Baodong, Li Ruogu and Guinea Minister of Energy and Hydropower Dijalow singed the memorandum on behalf of the three parties.
Suapi item includes a roller compacted concrete dam of 130 meters high and 1,150 meters lomg, the total installed capacity of the power satation reached 515 thousand kilowatt. The item will also build five affiliated switch stations, two transmission lines of 214 kilometers long and 225 kilovolt and another two transmission lines with 620 kilometers length and 110 kilovolt.
