Laos Sesai 2 Power Station of the Tenth Bureau Makes Progress
The derivation tunnel 1# downstream hole and 2# subtunnel upstream hole of Laos Sesai Power Station linked up comprehensively in August 28, 2007 through the great efforts of all the working staff of the Tenth Bureau. It was finished 23 days ahead of time compared to the owner’s requests and received consistent high praise the owner and the supervisor.
The crucial control time limits for Sesai 2 project is the derivation tunnel. The total length of the tunnel is 6806.626 meters, and now 91.6% has been finished. After liking up the 2# subtunnel downstream and the tunnel exit in May 25, 2007, the 1# subtunnel downstream and the tunnel exit has already been liked up. At present, the completed working surface is carrying on final supports and protects according to the progress plan, the entire derivation tunnel is hoped to be liked up at the end of 2007.
